A New Quarter is a New Start: An Introduction

As a third year university student, I've learned that every new quarter (or semester if you go by that system) is a fresh start.

With fresh starts come new goals. One of those goals is to have a stronger social media presence, hence why I created this blog.

Why? It's because I noticed that my life is giving me signs to do so. I'm doing more marketing work for my internships and for my personal Etsy store, so naturally I should be more acquainted with social media so that I can expand my skill set as well as my audience. Moreover, as an artist, I should expand the outreach of my artwork through blogging.

I've never actually ran a blog before, so I don't quite know all the "do's" and "don'ts" when running a blog. I'm still trying to figure out how formal (or informal) I should be, what should be the content of my blog, and how often I should post.

For now, here are my intentions for this blog:

- To post maybe weekly or biweekly

- Post about my Etsy shop

- Post about documentation or research or behind-the-scenes information for academic and personal projects

- Occasionally post about personal life so that you can get to know me more
